2010-11 Boston Celtics VS Miami Heats Recap (Season Opener!)

October 26th, 2010: Welcome to the season opener of the 2010-2011 NBA season. The first game was the (as reporters said) the most anticipated game of the season opener. Big hype emerges through the TD Garden and the Heat prove that they can be an elite team and hopefully win a championship. The first half consists of all Celtics, they were playing defense, and had the trust in their teammates. As for the Heat, not so much. The new Big Three were cold and combined a total of 14 turnovers in the first half. The Celtics were leading. Though some of us thought that it was already over, the Heat strike back, especially LeBron. LeBron scored 15 points in the third quarter to make it a single-digit game. The Celtics had no answer. But again Paul Pierce comes to the rescue ending the Heats' run. Rondo dished out an amazing 17 assists while Ray had game high of 20. LeBron managed to 31 points, Bosh putting in 8, and Wade with 13. Their team chemistry is likely to be improved and they will be more tough in the future. The final score, 88-80, Boston Celtics.
