Then Scunny came out and scored two in the 2nd half, of which one was in the 85th minute. Great day out, and made up for it in 2010 with a 1-0 win v Swindon Town.

44,159 Millwall fans at that, with 9,300 Scunthorpe fans. Such a great day despite the result. The weather was brilliant, walking around the ground before the game seeing Millwall fans had completely taken over the town centre, train station, tube station, Wembley Way and inside the stadium! Then the game was a thriller, Scunny taking an early 1-0 lead, before Alexander scoring two (of which one was the greatest goal ever) just before half-time to change the game in the space of 2 mins.

Its easy to say now, especially since we won the game but at the time my head was in my hands and I've never seen a reaction like it. Garry Birtles is spot-on, the place really was absolutely rocking.
