A short piece in Korean & partial English that discusses Daegu Pockets, your handy guide to the wonderful city of Daegu, South Korea. This international magazine of Daegu aims to be your pocket guide wherever you go, whether you are a tourist, long-term foreigner, or even a native Korean that doesn't speak any English at all.

Daegu is to apples, as Mokpo is to gangsters. A label that Koreans give even if it doesn't really apply anymore. Gyeongsang apples were all the rage years back, but is less so now. Nevertheless, I played up the apple label when choosing the cover.
I still think the stereotype about the beauty of Daegu women still holds, however, even though that was a label brought on merely because Daegu had a string of Miss Korea's, long ago. They don't measure up to Apgujeong, but pretty near close.:)

I would love to visit Korea. ALL of it.
I LOVE the news reporter's clothing. The headpiece is very unique! It is very pretty. Unfortunately, you would never see an American reporter wearing anything like that, or any type of hat or headpiece.
Very interesting video--- I'm glad some of it was in English so I could understand what it was about. Thank you for sharing.
