I'm wondering about one thing. This guy who was talking to the hooligans was speaking English and the hooligans were answering in Polish. How does that work?

That's the magic of the television...

No, seriously. I  watched them a long time ago so maybe i'm remembering wrongly, but I think that he says that a translator is with him helping on the interview. They cut those scenes (how much necessary is to see it?) so in the final result you see what you said in your comment. It's something really common on TV and you probably will see it many times.
