  • Love the bell & whistle echo.

  • Ive never been there, and yet my eyes are glued tho the hundreds of videos here on youtube. I've seen it on numerous documentarys on TV and there's something about this railroad that just draws you in. Maybe it's the haunting echo of the whistle, maybe it's the fact that the entire right of way still exists, maybe it's the supernatural presence of railroaders past calling, saying "Look what a great railroad we built! Look how long it lasts!" Whatever it is, it works!

  • i like this railroad, i especially like how the whistle echos off the mountains, it's awesome.

  • they should run 17 or 12.

  • I think that they should pull trains down this part of the line too if they can, it would add more to the ride and it is very scenic :D

  • I lived in Northern Huntingdon county all my life, but I was only ever there twice. Once on an elementary school field trip, and once with my grand parents.

  • amen...They are one step closer to being secure from a shutdown, They are now being run by a non profit Company, and the president of that group says he is raising money for the Track into mount union to be restored and for another steamer to be brought back to life.

  • I took the three hour trip there 20 June. It was a blast! My two-year old daughter loves trains. Highly recommended for all railroad fans.
