"You are special"
The weight bounced off my shoulder and I was left staggering to the ground with Kevin. I could feel the fear radiate off Kevin and into my being like some contagious disease. I knew that when I looked up I would too be afraid. Kevin's eyes never left the stranger and I knew that I too would be witnessing that same effect. Yet when I looked up I wasn't surprised. The voice sounded familiar and the atmosphere once again changed to suit his climate.
"Nick."
"Still up with that? I can assure you I am not your brother."
"Don't stand there and lie to us like that!" Kevin's voice came out fragile but it still got stronger in the end.
One thing I knew Kevin was cripple with fear but yet he was still fighting.
"I am not lying," the same smirk crept over his face again, "but on to pressing news; my only guess is that they are here for you Joe. I mean you learned to apparate on your own at the age of eight and you have the most splendid grades into the entire school even though the teachers barely teach. There's so much power in you. I wouldn't see anything in this useless world but you so prized that they would protect."
"Why would he need protecting?"
"With Great power, there come great responsibilities. Everyone is looking to take it away from him. Where there is good, there's also bad."
"So the bad is you. You are here to tell me that I can't go"
I dragged the arrow out of Ms. Belle's back, ready to take a good aim.
"Don't be hasty. I am just here to see everything go down on the side walk. I join no teams."
"So why aren't you in the cafeteria then?" I faced him and asked.
"I saw you in the halls with her" he pointed at Ms. Belle, " I knew you would go so I came here to take her from you. I will make sure she gets the help she needs. So do you trust me enough to hand her over?"
The colour had been washed out of her body and still yet no blood came. She needed help.
"Sure. Take her"
Soon he was gone and Kevin still sat there eyeing the particles floating in the air of where he was just standing. There was no big roar like we expected; no fight and he still didn't admit he was my brother. This couldn't be the end of him.
"You didn't see that or hear that?" he asked.
I looked at him puzzled.
" His feet makes no sound"
"it could be his sneakers or so, it kinda looks new."
"But no squeaky noise. We didn't hear him coming or even hear him leaving."
"Let's just go before things go bad."

With that we were off to the fairies and knights waiting outside.
