Yesterday, Eater named Anthony Myint the Empire Builder of the Year, and Mission Loc@l asked Myint to name the best thing he's ever eaten in the neighborhood. See what he and Danny Bowein, his partner-in-crime at Mission Chinese Food, had to say.
Myint is the man behind several neighborhood favorites that have opened in recent years, including Mission Street Food, Mission Burger, Mission Chinese Food and Commonwealth — all of which are founded on giving models, where portions of the proceeds go toward local charities and nonprofits. Since July, Mission Chinese Food has raised $10,405 for the San Francisco Food Bank.
