Thousands watched live as a photojournalist inside a helicopter broadcast the touchdown of a tornado northwest of Oklahoma City around 3pm central this afternoon.

Here is the official NWS Tornado warning message and weather conditions from the area during the time of the tornado.

  • hahaha man, you are my new hero. I cant believe you would take the time to do this, this is amazing, its like a flash back to when i was young and terrified of tornadoes! this song is ominous as hell too, they should blast this over the tornado sirens, it would be more effective.

  • I saw the Storm Stories episode about this on TWC. Also, this is perfect tornado music. :)

  • I remember this. I live in Cooke County near the Red River in Texas. The county to our west was issued a tornado warning and it touched down.

  • You can even see the hook echo passing north of Oklahoma City that prompted the Tornado Warning shown across the bottom of the screen.
