Thief: Deadly shadows exploit - kill the hag

If you've played to the end of "Thief: Deadly Shadows", you know that you're fighting a deadly creature known as The Hag, and you have to trigger a massive supernatural explosion that strips her of her powers. It also destroys centuries of collected Keeper knowledge.

Well, it turns out you can kill the hag without destroying civilization! This video shows how. Too bad the game doesn't recognize this as a victory condition!

I heard a rumor that Eidos is working on a Thief 4. With the exploit in this video, they can allow Garrett to resume his thiefing without any messy complications, IMHO allowing for a much better sequel. It'd certainly be the most original beginning for a video game sequel that anyone's ever seen!

I've tried making her slip on oil and setting oil on fire and it never worked for me. I am playing on X-box, though.

She has to be walking downward (e.g. stairway, sloped walkway) or stepping down off of something (e.g. a dead body) in order to slip on oil.

@youknowKeroroiskool Well, I played Thief recently and tried it in the Docks. It is entirely possible to send her arse into the murky depths and is probably the funniest thief moment I've ever seen!
