  • question do you use long or short axes in fresh white pine

  • @qldaxeman Edward, to be frank, I use whatever cuts the best. But, that said, all my pine gear is longer than 7 and a 1/4. Most is somewhere between 7 and a 1/4 and 7 and 3/4. I have several 8" plus axes and the trade off in using them is not worth it. At least it isn't for me.

  • Best video to date. So how tall is your garage training tree?

  • @TeamGZFS Thank you. The two board tree is the standard 9' in height. Three board trees which are cut in Australia and NZ are 12' in height. I'm scared of heights as is, and I don't bounce as well as I onced did. So I'm staying closer to the ground.

  • where is the fat man?

  • @SCHOLZ619 The dude in blue. :-D

  • @missedahit He's got 3 brothers I have to get through by the weekend. A good 150 to 175 hits to get through 15" logs. Brutal is an understatement. :-)

  • THat third log was brutal looking
