@rbereczky I wasn't calling your video off topic and random btw. I meant that my comment was going to be off topic and random. I'll stop typing now.

This is a great idea! Kind of off topic, and random, but your audio is really good. I was watching/listening with my headphones on and actually took them off to yell at my son to see what the dog was barking at. What makes that funny is that we haven't owned a dog for years. It's ok though. My son already thinks I'm losing it so it didn't shatter his image of me. lol

this is an ingenious idea, my wife and i really appreciate all the tips and pointers you give out. they all seem to follow the acronym K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. I made some furniture dolly's For my big freezer, little fridge, and water cooler in my garage. for easy maneuvering when sweeping or what have you.

You may want to add baffles inside as without them the compost will probably slide around as you turn it. Similar principal to a cement mixer. Great job though :)

LOL @ the last part. I like your style. I need to upload some more videos. I made one on my project I started on raised bed gardens from pallets. Reclaimed wood for the win.
It would be quite easy to turn those into fixed casters. A hammer and chisel to pinch the bearings while holding the wheel in the direction that you want it to stay fixed and the wheel should stay in place quite well. I have had wheels that were supposed to turn like that get damaged in that manner and become quite solidly fixed in place.

Yeah that's a good idea. I actually found the fixed casters and updated the compost tumbler. Check out my 'preps update video'

compost is just plant matter breaking down until it becomes rich soil.

I painted mine black and drilled a few holes. The added heat and airflow breaks ithe compost down faster.

@mskyprepper
yeah I am going to poke holes in there. You definitely want some airflow. You can compost without air, but anaerobic composting is a lot slower and a lot stinkier.
