@kerryoke68 same! i started out just with apps on my phone to learn the korean alphabet so i can read it not, although i have no idea what it means when i read it. Now slowly but surely i am learning little words here and there, and i can recognize korean language by sound now. But one huge problem for me is that it is a lot easier to read it and understand it than it is to write and speak it.

best way is to have everything in the house Korean. Korean tv, korean dramas, korean radio, korean news, korean newspapers, and think everything in korean.

I hear Tablo - Bad in the background :)

@juggerknot9 I can confirm Pimsleur is the best method. I learned most of the Korean I know that way.

Next time I watch a korean movie I'll smoke some weed, maybe I'll gett a hang of a few words.

I put a bunch of Pimsleur audio files on my ipod and listen to it through out the the day. By the end of the day, it’s starts locking in to my brain. And when I have a few beers I get really confident in the language.
you always have such helpful insight. I was going to make a joke about getting liquored up first but you beat me to it with the beer. Regarding sleep. I play Korean language films when I sleep. I recognize so many Korean words from sound now. I don't understand them, but I am faster to understand new words now, so I can confirm that is helpful. For some reason my short term memory for Korean is not as good as my long term memory. It seems so odd. It should be the opposite. Any insight on this?
