Teco, a bonobo at Great Ape Trust in Des Moines, turned a year old on June 1, 2011, and he is a third generation bonobo being reared in a bicultural environment. Teco and the other bonobos at Great Ape Trust participate in a voluntary, noninvasive scientific research program directed by Dr. Sue Savage-Rumbaugh that studies the origin and future of culture, language, tools and intelligence.

  • Zhu Zhu Pets!!!

  • ITS A FUCKING BATTLE HAMSTER!

  • what wasn't shown, however, is the part where teco ripped off his owner's faces

  • He tries to eat his gifts because he thinks they're giving him food.

  • I also would love to volunteer my time to help with these adorable animals

  • so precious!!!!!

  • What i would give to teach this monkeys dad(and him when he gets older) what guns are-and what they do to a family member, then release him in the wild and track this motherfucker. would be just like killing a human. :) all the gritty emotion.

  • who else is on a monkey videos streak?

  • wicked side burns.

  • @doctorsensual77 Koko does use sign language and also recognizes spoken language. Kanzi doesn't communicate fluently in ASL but certainly knows quite a few signs.
