dude, mac has a standard HDD at 5700rpm SSD is only avaible on MacBook Air, is simple Mac OS is better than any Windows OS no matter the hardware

my vaio laptop has a boot time of about 15 sec....it depends on the os and how its packed and the start up programs you have set to run

To be honest, the only way the test can be fair is if both computers are booting the same OS. We all know OS X takes way less to boot.

What're talking about man? MacBook doesn't have any SSD! It's a normal hard drive disk at 4200RPM VS the Vaio 7200RPM !
