@TheBdog92 Bypassing is essentially turning the effect off. So when you 'bypass' something you hear everything apart from that effect/plug in that you have bypassed.

i learned 4 very valuable key points here.

1. the same as mastering cant fix a good mix, you cant fix up bad samples with good processing. choosing the right samples is important.

2.don't overprocess and pile on effects, rather be very precise with a few.

3. eq your stacked samples so that they blend together, never boost two kick samples in the same place.

4. add the dynamics effects to the bus, not on the individual channels.

I notice that the length of your "Low Kick" seems quick. Do you recommend using audio instead of midi for the kick so you can cut and add a fade?
