I know i'm in love with their picks Hudler and Filppula are HOT!!!and Stuart gets a lot of ice time but he broke his fricken hand

Packaging off these guys could bring back a tough, physical forward. I'm looking for a forward or defenseman who can play at a high level as well. The guys you mentioned don't see a lot of time on the first or second lines.
I was watching the OHL this year and we made one hell of a mistake trading Mathius for Bertuzzi last year. That kid could have filled the role I was writing about. I think the Wings' may be in love with their picks and unable to see their own deficiencies.

The Wing's should give up one or both of these guys to bring in someone to provide a more physical presence. You have to admit that The Joe is kind of quiet even though we have a first place team. We need someone with a little sandpaper to spice things up again. I know we won't find another Shanny out there but we need a player who can initiate contact and then be able to back it up. I'm tired of looking to the ref's and the league office to protect us all the time.

Hudler is too small for the wings
we need to get a bigger man in trade of him
we'll never go anywhere the way he gets pushed around out there when it comes to the playoffs! On the other hand Val is a great player, deff. has great potential. =]

Hudler is offensively more gifted, while Filppula is a better face-off man with a better defensive game. Great, great players both.

hudler is small....but he's good...besides we've got Kopecky, Downey, McCarty, and Stuart now...Filppula and Hudler can only get better
