CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY chp 68

In the last chapter Kevin and Sheryll finally got together after Joe let her go.

A couple days later

[Sarah is sitting at a juice bar, waiting for Nick who had taken Frankie to his parents. Sarah sipped her drink as a guy sat next to her]
JASON: Hi.
[Sarah looked at him, his hand outstretched]
JASON: I'm Jason.
SARAH: Umm... hi. I'm Sarah.
[She shook his hand. He was so cute, Sarah could barely get the words out]
JASON: I saw you on TV with the Jonas brothers and I saw you guys coming on the ship.
SARAH: Oh.
JASON: I was hoping if I could get your autograph... and maybe your number?
SARAH: [Smiling] I'll give you my autograph, but not my number.
JASON: [Smiling] I'll settle with that.
[He handed a piece of paper and pen to her and she signed her name]
JASON: Thanks.
SARAH: You're welcome.
JASON: Do you want to have dinner later? If you're not busy that is.
SARAH: I—.
NICK: Actually she's already taken.
JASON: You're Nick, aren't you?
NICK: Yeah I am.
JASON: I didn't think you guys were actually dating. You can't always trust the media, right?
SARAH: Yeah. It can get crazy sometimes.
NICK: Well we are dating.
JASON: Ok... It was nice to meet you two. Bye Sarah. See you around
SARAH: Bye.
[Jason got up and left]
SARAH: Nick, that was rude.
NICK: Rude? The guy was hitting on you!
SARAH: I know. But it's not like I was going to actually go on a date with that guy. I don't even know him.
NICK: Exactly. You don't know him. Why did you even talk to him?
SARAH: Come on. Let's just go walk around. Someone needs some fresh air.
[They walked around for a while without saying anything. Sarah wanted to comfort him, but he had to get over this himself, and she didn't want it to turn into a fight]
NICK: [Sighed] Sarah, I'm sorry. I guess I was just being stupid.
SARAH: Yes you were.
NICK: I promise not to act like that again.
SARAH: Good.
[Nick stopped walking and pulled Sarah into a tight hug]
NICK: I love you.
SARAH: I love you, too.
JOE: Get a room.
[Joe just walked past them]
NICK: If it's not Frankie interrupting us, it's Joe. When will that ever stop?
SARAH: [Smiling] Well, no one is interrupting us now.
NICK: You're right.
[Nick kissed her before anyone else got into the picture]

[Sam is sitting by the pool, her body tanning in the sunlight]
JOE: Hey.
SAM: Hi Joe.
JOE: Have you heard about Kevin and Sheryll?
SAM: Yeah.
JOE: So... what do you think?
SAM: I think it's about time they got together.
[Joe was hurt. He thought she of all people would be on his side and not want Kevin and Sheryll together]
JOE: Why?
SAM: Because obviously they've wanted to be together for a long time.
JOE: But aren't you even a little bit jealous?
SAM: Nope. I'm over Kevin. He's not the only guy in this world. And you should get over Sheryll.
JOE: How can you say that? I thought you loved Kevin.
SAM: I did. But he never really loved me as much as he loved Sheryll. I was only his best friend compared to her.
JOE: Is that how she feels about me?
SAM: I don't know. We don't talk much.
JOE: Oh. So do you want to have lunch together?
SAM: No, it's ok. I've got a spa treatment scheduled.
JOE: Ok. Well, have fun.
[Sam got up and picked up her things]
SAM: Thanks. Oh and Joe.
JOE: Yeah?
SAM: We'd never work out. Sorry.
JOE: I didn't think so either.
[Joe laughed at himself for a moment. He was surprised at how much he missed her. Sheryll was the only person who could take his mind off the things he didn't want to bother thinking about. She was special, that he knew. But it was time for him to move on]

SHERYLL: [Laughing] You still haven't told me where you got your S.O.S. dance from.
KEVIN: [Blushing] Because you're going to think it's dumb.
SHERYLL: I won't. I promise.
KEVIN: How about we talk about something else?
SHERYLL: Ok fine. What do you want to talk about?
KEVIN: Have you talked to Sam?
SHERYLL: No. What am I supposed to say to her? Hi Sam I'm dating your ex?
KEVIN: I bet she already knows.
SHERYLL: I don't know Kevin. I don't want to talk to her just yet.
KEVIN: Ok. But promise me you will.
SHERYLL: I... promise.
[Kevin let out a chuckle before he kissed her. When he pulled back he looked her straight in the eyes]
KEVIN: I love you Sheryll.
SHERYLL: I love you Joe.
KEVIN: Joe?
[Sheryll only realized her mistake after she saw the expression on Kevin's face]
