Nice stove, excellent video. Have you tried a "boil" test with the stove. I understand that the small hole is to vent gas but I am concerned that when a pot is placed above the stove the increased heat may cause the stove to explode.

Speer168, be careful! I think better a small stove. I had problems with alcohol large chambers and a larger hole, this combination is now dangerous with a risk of explosion when lighting the wick.
Please try with a can of soda first!

Thanks Epeer168, I boiled anything with this stove because it is not a thick wick. I wanted to show the concept of the reservoir around the wick, without the need for hoses, and a fire control system easy. Explode, it would be unlikely, because the fire is far from the reservoir and there is not sufficient feedback of heat. If you make more holes, the less likely the possibility of exploding.
