Lt. Pike (the pepper spray viral video) from UCDavis P.D. appears to have received his training from L.A.P.D. Sergeant "Bob Sagen". Sgt. Sagen makes a Police Academy training video for new recruits on "The Proper Use of the Flashlight"...or shouldn't the working title have been: "Proper AB-use of the Flashlight"..

Lastly, if you were paying attention, you'd see the positive reminders in the sketch about what needs to change, using comedy, rather than wanting to 'attack' it. I am a veteran of US military AND law enforcement, I doubt you ever served.

FYI: No 'hippies' involved in this funny faux documentary comedy sketch. Advice for you though: First of all, look into developing what is called a "sense of humor", despite your apparent blind devotion to cops. Second of all, make an effort to pull your head out of your ass.

King did not 'attack' the cops, the video shows he was reluctant to comply. 7 or more cops commenced pounding on him with flashlights and batons, for several minutes. LAPD uses a Pelican 7060 LED Tactical Flashlight... Its pretty small, and not metal. I don't know who would use it as a weapon unless a EXIGENT circumstance presented itself.. Sigh.. Hippies.

Was a weekly pastime to watch LAPD arrest drunk Mexicans and Guatemalans on Olympic and Westlake in Rampart Division and apply "flashlight therapy" throughout the 60's. As a bike cop in Van Nuys and Pacoima in 2005, mag lights replaced with very cool Fenix lighs, great for anal insertion but, certainly not an impact tool.

i know not all cops are bad, but LE in general has grown way to much.."The United States has less than 5 percent of the world's population. But it has almost a quarter of the world's prisoners." the US is basically a police state and LE needs asinine laws to be passed by lawmakers to justify their existence since real crimes(theft,murder) have fallen..LE is similar to the military industrial complex..it's so big and they spend so much..they need to go to war to justify it's programs and money
