Ryan had just bought this truck a few days earlier and this video is his first off road mudding experience in his brand new and not to mention very first personally owned rig, it's painful to watch as he desperately thrashes back and forth trying to get free doing god knows how much fresh damage to the 4x4 drive train and engine which hadn't been properly broken in yet. The best part is my Bronco is parked right next to him out of the picture frame with a 9000lb Warn winch mounted to the front just waiting on stand by, but he wanted good video of ripping out of that pit, eventually I winched him out. I'm sure you have all encounter what appears to be a regular mud puddle but in reality is two long parallel tire ruts hidden by the waters surface which can be dug and carved deep down to the depths of sometimes 3 feet, basically when you gun it and rush hard at the puddle, you end up saddle bagging the frame from sliding in with such momentum, the center under carriage is left resting on the ground in between the two deep ruts and your tires are left suspended barely if at all touching the deep ruts inaccessible bottom. This is the classic "don't leap before you look" type of junior 4x4 mistake, but we all have to live and learn this our selves by actually experiencing the pain in the ass screw up, this way we are guaranteed to never forget the lesson learned.

  • future reference tlk shit about idc anyways carry a car chain with you when this happens hook one end to the rim and the other around a tree itll coil up when you press the gas and literally pull you out of the rut do it slow at first so you have less chance of fuckin the wheel up fast if wont work( now this useless if your in a field saved me and my dads ass a couple times just have a decent stump within distance of the chain ill always try to bring one muddin

  • yeahhhh...... hes pretty much beatin the hell out of a brand new truck...thats what a ford is for

  • @scoter1 yeah sticks the only way to go in the mud. They should prob. bring a strap and another truck too. Never wheel alone or stuff like this happens

  • Lets hope he learns next time, find anice long stick, see how deep that hole is BEFORE You try drive through it.

It aint gunna be new for long.

  • If you got the money thrash it, if not dont.

  • That looks just like the place i went 4wheeln at right outside of pigon forge tennessee msg me back n let me no where this is???plz???

  • Don't worry i experienced this with my Jeep Cherokee.

I went wheeling with some friends and went in a pit and got hung up in a spot where there were tire ruts where all i was doing was slinging mud around. In the end all i was doing was burying it more and more. It took a 07 Colorado and some heavy duty yanking to get me out. Your buddy should be atleast a lil lucky that he got momentum. I didn't even have that. Remember in ruts like he was in. Big ass rocks can be your best friend.

  • He just bought the truck brand new? Poor truck... why didn't he buy an older truck if he was going to beat the crap out of it!
