I talk to my father about family history quite a bit, trying to learn about my grandparents and their lives. I'd never met my paternal grandfather, he died the year before I was born. His name was Charlie Dorie and he was a coal miner at the Drummond Mine in Westville Novs Scotia.

  • @trevorm1 Thanks Trevor, the guitar is Canadian made in Quebec by the Godin group. This one is an Art & Lutherie and the model is called an "Ami", it's a 12-fret parlour guitar, not very expensive but great sound and nice to play.

  • How come no one says anything, but you've got huge views? Well, I'm excited to say something. I love this song. I really like story songs. I'd also like to compliment you on that guitar you're playing. Boy, it sure has some tone and it just throw's the sound out.
