We help Lanyu Library to arrange the books, replace books which are worn, lost or no longer needed in collection. Make a detailed list of the books. Then, report it to Taitung County Government to apply for the admission of collection removal and government propertys abandonment.
Hold activities, such as Library popularizing and Summer Reading Camp, to raise Lanyu students interests toward reading, and then let them love to read, be active to read.
Plan and set up local reading team, wishing that they can use their own power to promote reading in their own area.

In 2002, Lanyu Junior High School held an activity aiming to collect books. In this activity, they received various kinds of books amounted to tens of thousands. However, Lanyu Junior High School didnt have many people who can nicely organize and use those given books. Therefore, in 2003, Department of Library and Information Science of National Taiwan University form a Lanyu Service Team. Next year, 2004, the team set out for Lanyu to help them to arrange the books and map out a library of Lanyu Junior High School.
