七五暴动首批案件 6名维族暴徒被判死刑 Six Uyghur Rioters Sentenced to Death

新华网北京10月12日电 10月12日，新疆维吾尔自治区乌鲁木齐市中级人民法院依法对乌鲁木齐7·5打砸抢烧严重暴力犯罪事件的三起重大犯罪案件7名被告人进行一审公开开庭审理并当庭宣判。阿不­都克里木·阿不都瓦伊提、艾尼·玉苏甫、阿卜杜拉·麦提托合提、阿迪力·肉孜、努尔艾力·吾休尔、阿力木·麦提玉苏普6名罪行极其严重的被告人被判处死刑，剥夺政治权利终­身；被告人塔衣热江·阿布力米提因具有重大立功表现，被依法从轻判处无期徒刑，剥夺政治权利终身。经法庭审理查明，2009年7月5日晚，被告人阿不都克里木·阿不都瓦伊­提在乌鲁木齐7·5打砸抢烧严重暴力犯罪事件中，在团结路沿线一路打砸烧杀，先后采用匕首捅刺、管钳反复猛砸头部等手段，杀害无辜群众5人，随后又放火烧毁闹市区建筑物，­造成财产损失26万余元，躲藏在该建筑物内的13名群众被迫跳楼逃生。法庭审理认为，阿不都克里木·阿不都瓦伊提犯罪手段特别凶残，情节、后果特别严重，依法应予严惩，遂­以故意杀人罪、放火罪，判处阿不都克里木·阿不都瓦伊提死刑。2009年7月5日晚，被告人艾尼·玉苏甫带领被告人阿卜杜拉·麦提托合提、阿迪力·肉孜、努尔艾力·吾休尔­等，结伙持木棍、石头等工具，先后在中湾路附近的4个地点实施打砸抢烧，共同殴打致死无辜群众4人，致伤1人。艾尼·玉苏甫还带领其他暴徒殴打致死无辜群众1人，致伤1人­，并砸抢商店、汽车等财物。当晚，阿卜杜拉·麦提托合提又伙同他人纵火烧毁位于中湾路447号的天山粮油店，造成躲藏在店中的5名无辜群众被烧死，财产损失137万余元。­法庭审理认为，艾尼·玉苏甫等4名被告人所犯罪行均特别严重，其中艾尼·玉苏甫系聚众打砸抢烧的首要分子，其余3名被告人均起主要作用，应依法严惩，遂以故意杀人罪、抢劫­罪，判处艾尼·玉苏甫死刑；以故意杀人罪、放火罪，判处阿卜杜拉·麦提托合提死刑；以故意杀人罪，判处阿迪力·肉孜、努尔艾力·吾休尔死刑。2009年7月5日22时许，­阿力木·麦提玉苏普、塔衣热江·阿布力米提2名被告人在南湾街、团结北路等处共同殴打致死无辜群众3人，重伤1人，并劫取手机等财物；阿力木·麦提玉苏普还伙同他人殴打致­死无辜群众2人和放火焚烧房屋，造成财产损失5万余元。法庭以故意杀人罪、放火罪、抢劫罪，判处阿力木·麦提玉苏普死刑；塔衣热江·阿布力米提论罪也应判处死刑，鉴于其归­案后主动坦白罪行，并有协助抓获阿力木·麦提玉苏普的重大立功表现，依法从轻处罚，遂以故意杀人罪、抢劫罪，判处塔衣热江·阿布力米提无期徒刑。庭审中，公诉人出示了现场­目击证人的证言、尸体鉴定结论、现场勘验、检查笔录等证据，并运用多媒体视听系统当庭播放了案发现场的监控录像等视听资料，各被告人对公诉机关指控的犯罪事实进行了供述和­辩解，律师当庭发表了辩护意见。新疆维吾尔自治区和乌鲁木齐市部分人大代表、政协委员，各族各界群众，媒体记者及被告人亲属、被害人亲属等400余人在乌鲁木齐市中级人民­法院的3个法庭旁听了开庭审理。法庭使用被告人本民族语言文字进行诉讼，也提供同声传译，以保证其他诉讼参与人进行诉讼，方便旁听群众及时了解案情和庭审进程。

And if the American way is incompetent, and it seems more so with every passing day, there's always Israel to look up to.
