  • Nice video and well put together although I think you got the name wrong. The MGS was actually an orbiting satilite that the rovers Spirit and Opertunnity (featured in this vid) used to transmit data to Earth. It was our "eye in the sky over Mars" as they put it.

  • hey - glad you liked it, and I think you are right, the footage is taken from a NASA data image stream and at the same time I was reading about the MSG's demise, must have put the two together. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • Hi - I am glad you like it, I made it as a little joke for a short film night. The song is by Loudon Wainwright III and its called 'The Swimming Song'
