Not proud of it, but it was a stripper in L.A. that introduced me to The Cure, w/this album. I had just got married, I was 18 and some how I cheated my wife with this girl. It was platonic at first, and it was for our common taste in music we start seeing each other. Saw them the 1st time on the "Kiss me, Kiss me" Tour with her. Of course my wife (ex now) hated rock, and was into Pop and other stuff Wherever you are, thanks Kim. And sorry Michelle (kind of, after all you were a pin in the ass)

the guitar is a '60 mosrite
actually they are pretty famous for surfcaster style music, but i totally agree, in this performance, i do like his guitar sound more than in the ather "the kiss" performances. it must be the guitar.
this is pure energy.

AWESOME!!!... I have seen The Cure 3 times, and was really bummed that I was unable to catch their most recent tour. Thanks Cervivec for posting this! Where is this from? I was dissapointed that you had nothing else on, the quality was very good.

Its from Trilogy DVD (Berlin 2002) and for me this is the best live performance of Tke Kiss :)
