Relax, folks! I am just over-reacting. My mother is not that bad, really. She's not really that much of a tyrant. After all, in the words of Phil Collins (my most favorite British male vocalist), you "Must hear both sides of the story" yet you are only hearing MY side to this story. One-sided bias arguments were never a good thing, true that.

Mark Smith listening to his most favorite radio station (that being WLTN-FM "Mix 96.7" licensed to serve the small town of Littleton, New Hampshire and licensed to transmit from the even smaller town of Lisbon, New Hampshire). This is a video of a car stereo listen while approaching Saint Johnsbury, Vermont via Route 2, coming from Lancaster, New Hampshire (a 27-mile drive, according to the sign at the Route 2/3 junction near the Shaw's Supermarket). The video ends as I approach the western borders of Concord, Vermont into the outer city limits of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. This video was taken on Thursday, September 21st, 2010 at roughly 3:00PM, sometime well after the lunch-hour. This is 2010 and we are hearing Both Sides of the Story by Genesis on a commercial terrestrial FM radio station! This is certainly not a common occurrence for commercial radio here in 2010. This station is owned by Radio New England Broadcasting, LLC. THIS is the very radio station that I am wishing with all my heart could be streaming online sometime soon, co-owned station, WXXS-FM "Kiss 102.3" from Lancaster, New Hampshire taking 2nd place as my most favorite HIT Music radio station. Should anybody representing or working for Radio New England Broadcasting, LLC object to this video or feel that it violates licenses or terms in any way, please alert me and I will remove it immediately. [This video was taken using a Nikon D90 using a Nikkor lens set to 18mm. Just as I am a loyal user of Microsoft Windows and PC computers, I am also a very loyal user of Nikon cameras and Nikkor lenses. These videos are all focused out to infinity--real infinity, not {fake} infinity--using the {Auto Mode} when snapping a few long-distance photographs prior to all these video shoots.]

From the Concord, Vermont and Saint Johnsbury, Vermont area along Route 2, WLTN-FM "Mix 96.7" and co-owned WXXS-FM "Kiss 102.3" sound very decent if being received by a car stereo but buyer-beware for anyone who attempts to tune in using any sort of the more flimsy FM Radio receivers (including but not limited to handheld/walkman radio receivers and flimsy office radios with torn-off antennas or makeshift coat hanger antennas) whilst navigating this region on foot. At this point, either WGMT-FM "Magic 97.7" from Lyndon, Vermont and broadcasting atop Burke Mountain (a more mainstream Hot AC radio station specializing in the standard "Today's Best Music" radio format) or WKXH-FM "Kix 105.5" from Saint Johnsbury, Vermont (a Hot Hit Country radio format) will definitely generate plenty of problems for you, for from the Concord, Vermont and Saint Johnsbury, Vermont area those two stations reign supreme on many lower-power FM Radio receivers. Those two mentioned Saint Johnsbury, Vermont area radio stations (both owned by Vermont Broadcast Associates, Inc. who also co-owns Classic Hits WMTK-FM "106.3 The Notch" from Littleton, New Hampshire) will definitely cause plenty of cross-dial bleeding on flimsy FM Radio receivers.
