I don't understand, how can this be only 10x magnification and I see other videos that claim 1000x magnification and they don't appear as large as in this video. Any ideas why?

There's a 10X printed on my lens so I think there's a difference between a big X and a small x

@JJefArt I think I got it I'ts a 10x objective and a 10x oculair totalling a 100 times magnification
I also looked at the manual and it said it can magnify 40 to 400 times and a 1600 max with a 4 times digital zoom

Those are probably air bubbles
or other stuff sticking to the glass from handling it
