1979 Fender Stratocaster, made in U.S.A. Rare Capri Orange finish, part of their 'International Color' series of the time. 3 single-coil pickups, 21 frets. Fender really had their floating tremolo bridges down pat by this point - great whammy bar, it will not go out of tune. Please see other videos where I will play & compare Fender guitars from over the decades: '60's, '70's, '80's, and '10's.

I have a Monaco Yellow one of these, hardtail, with rosewood fretboardm; bought it new in1983 but I think made in '81. Weighs a ton. During a passing fancy in '83 I took a chisel to the scratchplate and replaced the neck pickup with a DiMarzio humbucker. It's unique...ly screwed, but I am very fond of it.

It's all sweet how you slap that shit around.

by the way its a fender stratocaster not a telecaster. Played an 81. Don't like the 3 bolt neck plates as much, heavy as crap, but not a bad sound
