The Battleship USS New York : The Battleship Built With WTC Steel ! Part 1

USS New York arrived on Monday September 5th. 2011 to a 21 - gun salute close to Ground Zero ! Families of the victims & first responders to the tragedy came together @ the Hudson River waterfront as the assault ship past by with its crew @ attention ! The bow of the ship was built in Louisiana (costs $1 Billion) and carries about 7.5 tons of the World Trade Center steel, The Battleship was a stone throw away from another historic Naval ship the carrier and museum Intrepid ! Interesting fact of the 361 sailors on board the USS New York 13 percent are from the Empire State : NEW YORK/USS New York will be in NYC through Veteran's Day so come by and see this tribute to resilence/bravery and the fallen innocent victims of 9./11
