  • I noticed you didn't use your turn signals (shame on you); is the turn signal lever still working?

BTW, my first car was a '60 Saratoga. Thanks for the happy memories.

  • @FarginBastiges , Yes the signal lever works ... I do use them when there is traffic around me......

  • is that air conditioning stock or was it added on at one time.....i knew someone with a 1961 chrysler and theirs had these odd swiveling ports on the dash

  • @inkey2 Aftermarket. Mark-IV was used aftermarket for many cars. Wish it was factory A/C with the swiveling pods on the dash !

  • Great cars, I had a 383 "Golden Lion" in my 59 Sara, kept me in trouble, arrested in Upper Marlboro Md. for exceeding 120 mph. 13 mpg if I remember correctly with only a 18 gal tank, big drawback.

  • I just completed a 2200 mile round trip to California and back from Vancouver Island in the car, and averaged 23 mpg ( imperial gallons ) which is around 18.4 MPG US gallons.

  • she's a beauty

  • sounds like the cameraman had a little gas there

  • @ijsmale well let me tell you something interesting about the swiveling dash pods. They were placed too close to the front windshield. A friend of mines father had one of these cars in the late 1960s. For some reason he had the swiveling ports facing the windshield that day. The car was outside in the baking summer sun. He turned on the ac and the cold coming from the ports cracked the bottom of the windshield.

  • @wichrau - The color is period correct but not the original color, which was Bluegrass Metallic - a kind of light metallic turquoise. Don't know why it was changed, I bought the car after the repaint. The seat belts have been in the car since new but not factory, probably dealer installed, but they are identical to a set that are in a1962 Chrysler 300 I used to own.

  • My 1960 Chrysler Saratoga was the most comfortable driving car I've ever driven.

  • were u live so I can come and steal it from u, this is ultra beauty inside
