Because one really cannot have enough uploads of this epic logo. Taken from an episode of the 1967-1969 TV series "The Mothers-In-Law" on it's DVD release.

  • Wow, best quality video I've seen of this on YouTube. Too bad the audio is a bit distorted!

  • @mobilene that's how it appeared on my DVD copy.

  • @MIKECNW Then you'd be old like me and everything would hurt.

  • I'm watching the first Adam-12 episode'The Impossible Mission and just to think if I were living at this time, I'd probably seeing this at the beginning of the episode.

  • When I was little, We must have watched a lot of programs on NBC, because I remember that Peacock very well.Plus we had a color TV as long as I can remember.

  • Finally- one that shows the greens!

  • @MattTheSaiyan The best copy I've seen is titled, "1962 NBC Laramie Peacock".

  • This opening bumper [Mel Brandt, announcer] appeared at the start of virtually every NBC color program from 1962 through '68 (that fall, a slightly shorter version was used, through 1971).

  • 3D sounds like an idea to me.

  • I loved this intro from the first time I saw it as a young boy, only I don't think I would actually see it in color for several more years.
