WORLD NEW AGE Hellenic MUSIC

Composed by Spiro Cardamis http://spirosmusic.com & performed by the group SPIRO CARDAMIS & DREAMBAND.A snippet of the piece " THELO NA THO " presented in Manhattan june 8 2004 at the SATALLA nite club. The concert was given in celebration of the Hellenic Spirit (Olympic games 2004)." THELO NA THO " was inspired by a poem written by Greek American poet Dino Makropoulos.In 1997 Spiro & Dino met & this is one of the poems Spiro set music to.This time is presented in instrumental form with 2 themes one of masculine quality where violin & clarinet are juxtaposed & the other of lyrical quality where they both merge along with the cello.The piece is full of various meters 9/8 ,10/8,12/8 whereas the lyrical theme is a flowing 5/8..After a short orchestral iprov the lyrical theme is presented as female duet sung by sopranos Julie Ziavras & Eleni kalaitzidou who also plays the cello.
DREAMBAND is composed of some of the most talented & established musicians & singers in the Metropolitan area.Lefteris Bournias-clarinet & nay flute, Vassilis Patrikis-violin, Dick Barsamian -oud, Chris Papadopoulos-bouzouki & vocals, Eleni Kalaitzithou- cello & vocals, Panayiotis Andreou-electric bass, Todd Isler-percussion,Richard Khuzami - dumbek & bendir, Gabe Kontos-bouzouki,baglamas & Spiro Cardamis- synths. First thing Mr Spiros thank you for that! Simply AMAZING!!! Ok now did you put suburbs on the music NOW LETS PUT some customs and VAT to finish it..... Music has no nationality , no religion, no color and race. A good song remains good for the sound and the lyrics not because of that shits that you claim. Only uncivialins people (wherever came from) generalize music based on their complex and ofends the others. Music made to entertain ppl based on emotions so thats Spiros music nothing else!!!

I love this music. It´s a shame that we can not share all the good and beauty in this world like brothers. We all are just passing by, what´s the big deal. I´m Albanian, proud of being one, and can still apreciate other´s culture. Respect, if you want to be respected.
