The chorus is parts of a quote from Levi's Myspace... He called himself a redneck. Was at a concert a few months ago and he explained how he made the song up.

the definition of the word red neck means - an uneducated white farm laborer, esp. from the South

because of the history of people saying that to white people it does make that word a racist word.

but your totally right red neck could just mean not only white people but any kind of race who gets a red neck from working out side
