Game designers and showers are not always experts at the game. ?I could make a game, and suck at it. It's true.

Not necessarily; they're MOST LIKELY so EXTREEMELY busy with advertising, marketing, paperwork, and game development that they simply don't have the time to master the game.
Then again, you would think that Activision or FreeStyle Games would choose some people who WOULD be masters at it.
