  • Very well played indeed, great sound and technique!.

I enjoyed listening to a real pro thanks.

  • JT, VERY well played.

  • Great tribute to trumpeter/conductor Joe Valenti. I will miss him, along with the rest of the Peninsula Symphony that he directed for so many years. He certainly worked the entire brass section with his brass-heavy choices of tunes, but us brass people always LOVED it. Great recording, and great playing.

  • Not bad at all. Not bad at all. This isn't as easy a piece as it looks when first looking at the score. Those low D sixteenth notes always gave me a problem. If only I had a fast and clean a single tongue as Mendez.

  • Hello there JT. I'm a horn player also who knows this tune very well and it's been one of my favorites to play for over 50 years. I can honestly that you do a very, very nice job on it. Dynamics, tone, and execution are as good as can be done. Thanks for keeping this song by Leroy Anderson out there to be heard. Much appreciated by all who hear you doing it . David

  • Thank you for the tribute to my Grandfather, he was unike anyone I ever knew. He was full of so much love and wisdom, and gave a ll of his attention to the one he was communicating with. He wanted to teach the world how to play music with any instrument, it didn't matter. Music makes the world a better place. Thank you agian for the respect you show for this amazing man, Grandpa Joe....
