hahaha @ 1:17 Torts kinda rolls his eyes and sighs as the person is about to ask the question..does anyone from New York know who that reporter is? they infamous far being a bad reporter or something? Sounds like a high school kid or something

@djcuen95 Yes...yes the Rangers DO spend their money more carelessly.
Islanders bad contracts: DiPietro, Yashin
Rangers: Boogaard, Brashear, Redden, Drury, Gomez
I might also add that DiPietro was actually really good at the time of the signing, whereas the Rags overpaid heavily for two enforcers, overpaid heavily for Drury, as solid as he may be, and made laughably bad deals on Redden and Gomez.

if i played in the NHL, this is the kind of coach i would give my spine for. any coach who gives that much emotion is willing to do whatever it takes to bring a team to the top. tortorella has my upmost respect

@djcuen95 Oh yeah this is compared to the genius of Glen Sather. The man that signs drury for 8 million, Redden for 7, Rozsival for 7... That is like half your cap right there. Im not going to deny that DP was a crap signing, but Ranger fans have nothing to say about that cause Sather is the worst GM in hockey.

Does anyone else think it's hysterical that all these Islanders fans keep talking about how the Rangers spend sooooooooo much money yet still suck? Don't they realize there's a salary cap now?
I think these guys are following the Islanders for the first time since before the lockout!
