The Proposal

Timothy wrote to a popular German T.V. show called Love Stories (Think Oprah popularity). He told them that America had a custom of giving an engagement ring when a man proposed but, there were none to be found in Germany. You are viewing his efforts to 'win' a ring in a contest. The other contestant wanted to win plane tickets to bring her boyfriend to visit from England. It is rigged for Timothy to win. They had his mother and me in on it unknowing to Timothy they flew Rebekah in who thought she was there for them to tell their 'story' and give them a night on the town w/ restaurant, Broadway, etc. His mom provided chaperone for Rebekah and we sent video giving consent for her to 'appear on the show' (that's what she thought was on the video. The 'bear' was one she made him with her voice in the paw so he would not be lonely (he made her a bunny). They saw each other once or twice a year for about 2 years after they first met in person (her Sr. Prom date). The host hoped if Timothy had the ring, the permission (the video) and the girl ... he just might pop the question. Their Love Story (about 15 mins) ....
