A video taken at West Beach, Adelaide on the 30/6/09 during the most intense part of a ferocious storm that carved up a path of damage throughout Adelaide. It hit us very hard as we reached about 100m north of the Torrens mouth, with winds so strong that the car was moving around very vigorously. During an extremely intense 30 or so seconds of ferocity, the window's suddenly fogged up almost spontaneously in just a matter of seconds. At this point the car was being shaken violently and there was an incredible noise. The intensity then died down just as quickly and the fogginess then slowly cleared. Quote from Bureau of Meteorology

"A pressure drop would have occurred as the front passed. It may also have been enhance by vortices along the front. Your comments about the violent shaking and the incredible noise do provide extra information suggesting a vortex may have been involved. There was certainly some damage across Adelaide which indicated possible tornadic vortices."
