Some folks running Quake 3 on a 12 machine Linux cluster with a total of 24 monitors and using the Gyro Mouse.
This is just here as a proof of concept. We all know a projector would suit this better :)

only some very specific expensive cards.. like the 6950dcII and such.
and looking at the date of the video and the old monitors used..
i dont think it was possible back then to run more then 2 monitor for 1 card. only with matrox..
so linux cluster is the way to go

Why a linux cluster? four RADEON HDs will do 24 moniters easy if you crossfire
