Take these steps to stay positive and get through unemployment, one of the most difficult times in your life.

To complete this How-To you will need:

A positive attitude
A daily schedule
Family time
An exercise routine
A healthy diet
Humor
A priority list (optional)

Step 1: Stay positive

Maintain a positive attitude. Don't give in to fears and negativity, because negativity creates its own momentum and makes it harder to return to positive thinking.

Tip: Remind yourself of what you have, of what is going right in your life, and of your accomplishments.

Step 2: Stick to a schedule

Get up in the morning, shower, and maintain a normal routine.

Step 3: Keep busy

Keep busy. In addition to job hunting, consider taking a class, starting your own business, joining professional associations, or volunteering.

Tip: Prioritize actions with a list. This will help clear your head and help you focus.

Step 4: Have family time

Take advantage of this opportunity to spend time with your family.

Step 5: Exercise

Exercise each day. Exercise is important to your emotional well-being and improves the body's ability to handle anxiety and stress.

Step 6: Eat and sleep well

Eat healthy, regular meals and get enough sleep. You'll be better equipped to handle the challenges ahead of you.

Step 7: Laugh

Laugh with friends, watch funny movies, and do whatever you can to lighten your mood.

Step 8: Seek help

If your mood doesn't improve and you notice changes in sleeping or eating patterns, or have trouble concentrating on everyday tasks, seek professional help.

  • Check ut my favourite about the time I was unemployed and depressed watch?v=ewAORhlmXKo

  • @Craxxet LOL, sorry xD

  • Just graduated with a BBA in Finance from a top business school in the heart of NYC. And I can't find a job. For one thing it opened my eyes. Stockbrokers and investment bankers are not ivory types with special unattainable knowledge. Their just high school seniors with a degree and a clip on tie. Spend just an hour with them. Then you will understand why the world fell into the toilet, and we are lucky the world has not sunk even further.

  • If anything Unemployment and looking at society has turned me into an anti british. I now support foreign countries in wars and support foreign sports teams. Last week i was delighted that england did not get the 2018 WC bid. After all politiciand and corporations, would get all the money anyway. I wish britain was nuked because they treat poor people the way they do. The whole point of their system is to create class wars and divides.

  • I have to sign in every week for job seekers alowance and find the whole process so condesending and lowering. If anything though it has shown me how the government treat people in society, the race and class wars that go on. Idiots like ian duncsan and will hague keep bullshitting that they want to get tougher, but they really dont know what they are doing. They bail out corrupt banks using billions of tax payers funds and yet make it incredibely difficult for people tO get a measly 60 quid.

  • Unemployment is like a cancer that eats at you and eats at you. It makes you feel numb and low. I have been since July and trust me I have not slept more than 4 hours each night. I am border line suiciudal and very aggressive everytime I meet people at the job centre. I cant even eat. I only eat 1 meal a day and am constantly worried. I was a Doctor in Engineering but right now I cannot even fill out a basic form. (continued^)

  • do not cast ones pearls before swine. most can see this whole class war was designed to make obama look bad or be assassinated if he didn't cave to all pointless wars and wars to come.

  • Well fuck you Youtube for putting this in my recommended tab.
