I personally prefer a good quality CRT overall. Just like they said in the video, the CRT has the colors and the contrast not seen with an LCD. The only advantage to LCD may be a slightly sharper image. On top of that, the CRT during a majority of its production was made in a bygone era of quality craftsmanship.

Which one is better? why not go to your local repair shop and ask them...The new LCD's are often costly to repair. I'll probably buy one if I can get it cheap enough. Some of the Plasma sets were poorly designed..some models have no cooling fans. I've seen LCD's come into the shop for repair that were only 1 year old.

@Tbolt1000TForLife Too bad CRT's are expensive now thanks to people wanting to destroy them for fun, ESPECIALLY CRT COMPUTER MONITORS WHICH ARE THE ONLY KIND OF MONITORS YOU WOULD WANT TO USE FOR DOS GAMING AS modes like 320x200 and 640x350 will look correct in those aspect ratios (In square pixels, they are wide or like 360x480 they aren't wide but in stretched or squshed pixels which occurs in CRTs, you are getting the correct aspect ratio of 4 by 3)

fuck LCD's and all flackscreens, they are fake TV's and are fucking stupid, I have a 1984 Magnavox 19" with it's original remote, still works great, when it dies, it will be replaced with a Sansui 27" CRT DTV, CRT's FTW!!!!!!!
