No doubt! Also: Lille, France Poitiers, France btw...that Boeblingen recording captures the boys on one of their best nights ever. Certainly, the version of "Axe" they turned in that night ranks probably at the very top. Other notable renditions of it: 17OCT71, Golden Hall, San Diego, California 11MAR73, Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, Canada 25FEB71, Grosser Saal, Musikhalle, Hamburg, Germany FWIW, they turned in a version of 26minute "A Saucerful of Secrets" with Pict rant...Rotterdam, 1971. ;)

I do consider the Boblingen version, the best one...

First for it's execution! It's the most psychedelic (in my opinion) version ever...

Almost the definitive version of careful...

And Second, the recordings we all have, are all air recordings, but magically the sound is astonishing!

everything was perfect!! however...

for the scream, what you can do to improve and make it sound better would be to "scream inwards", as Roger Waters does (and I do).

you can look up how to, but it's pretty much adjusting your throat and pharynx while you inhale to make a screaming sound; trust me, look it up!

all in all, great performance to everyone!
