Stage 5 - MESSY PARK

This one is kinda hard to S rank because it's easy to lose Kitty's health, and you'll have to make sure you collect a lot of coins. Be really careful when smashing the barrels that are near the bombs. You don't want to set off the bombs where they could hit you. The cheerleaders are a pain, if you want to unlock the cheerleader costumes, destroy all the cheerers, but if you're just going for S rank, ignore the ones you don't have to fight. When you get to that springy yellow guy, try to hit him over to the big pink stripey box so you can get all those coins up there, and don't forget to drop down behind it to get more coins. Don't bother with the ones in the boxes back there, and remember that you can just jump on the black box and up instead of using the springy guy to get back out. Make sure you rescue the Twin Stars boy, and if Kitty loses any health, before ending the stage after beating the chef miniboss, grab some apples off the nearby tree to make up for it. As you can see, I had problems with the stupid cheerleader and collision detection or something. You can use your special X moves and bombs to make the fight against the miniboss and his cronies much easier.

I did pretty poorly here, but you can see what you need to do and what you need to ignore to get the S rank.
