Welcome to the latest introduction from Yamaha, the Receiver Control App for iPhone™ and iPod® touch.

This Receiver Control App will turn your iPhone™ or iPod® touch into a Wi-Fi enabled remote control for select Yamaha network multi-zone A/V receivers while providing you instant access to music and other content you want to enjoy in each of the connected rooms.

With this application you will have basic control over Yamaha Network A/V receiver functions.

The specific network receiver you own will determine how many areas of your home you can access. This iPhone™ App provides you the flexibility to control the available inputs, volume, mute and power commands by zone.

Its great to have all this control -- and best of all its FREE!

  • Hi trddddr, This App will not work with the V1900 since this model does not offer network content access nor network control.

  • We have a new App that was just release that will offer control on that model... Look for Yamaha AV Controller app...on the iTunes App Store...

  • where do u get the IP address from??

  • @krishnakaps The IP address is located on the AV receiver under the network settings... please see Yamaha website then locate the app product page for more details...

    Thanks

  • Where is the IP address located at?

  • Why does this not support the 1st Yamaha "Network" Receiver the RX-V3800. Being an early adopter & $2000 for the receiver means nothing? Denon's receiver the 3808 came out at the same time supports web or app control. Sounds like the RX-3800 was a beta product & the RX-V3900 is the 1.0. I've been a Yamaha customer my whole life, my next purchase might not be.

  • Please confirm that this will not work with the V1900. i'm fairly certain it has only Bluetooth and no WiFi.

  • @Yamahahometheater

    thank you!!!

  • does yamaha a/v ipod app works with HTR6295 model?

  • 2065 is the previous model to the 3900 is this correct. Or are they the same.
