Ernie Hawkins is the best guitar teacher I have seen: funny, laid back, thorough, and totally becomes the music he plays. We are really fortunate that he sought to make a career in instructional DVDs of the earlier Blues, Rag and fingerstyle masters; because he's so good at getting across each piece.

Absolutely great!

There's something that's so hard to find in the acoustic player, a clear & funky sound... Only in a few, shure in Rev. Gary Davis, Ernie, Stefan & Jorma

Ernie is a real blues master. He can play simply chords, and make it sound like a full band of bluesman. Incredible playing.

Ernie is not only a great musician but I real gentleman and patient teacher. Took a workshop with him and Stefan and came out a fingerpickin' maven. I am still learning from his 3 DVD RGD lessons.
