The oldest commercially operated staionary steam engine in the world? Marshall and Company changed its name to Marshall, Sons and Company on the death of William Marshall in 1862. That makes it around 150 years old and it can have few if any rivals for the title. The Universal' appears to be the only one of its kind still in existance and is still hard at work at a rice mill in Irrawaddy Division, Burma where it was filmed in December 2010.
