Jesus in so many words claimed divinity and to be of God son of man or son of God many times he declares that he is God but of course he is not gonna say it so directly because this would be contrary to the whole point of him being human, dont you think if god wanted to he could speak to every one on earth from heaven and say its me god follow my rules or die? he could do this but he chose to walk amongst us instead he wants our acceptance by love not by fear or force, what would be the point?.

Good point discussed, this reveals the problem with quran. if Muslims claim the gospel is corrupted soon after Jesus ascended to heaven. In what grounds they accuse the Jesus and his divinity based on a book that came to existence after 600 years of Jesus.

I think Muslims has no ground to question Jesus' divinity. This is simply stupidity at its highest.

@TheYungapostle Well said. They claim that revelations given to Muhammad and he himself not sure who gave that. God did not give it directly to him. So all their faith is based on dubious book which commands them to stop reasoning and become slaves to God. This is one of the rudimentary evidence that quran is not from God. They question so many times to show from Bible where Jesus said he is God. He said this so many ways e.g. John 10:30 "I and my Father are one." Did Muhammad able to say it?

@TheCommandModule Another foolish thing you will run into is that muslims believe Jesus was a muslim, so a religion founded 600yrs after christ says he is a muslim. When Muslims didnt exist until the yr 630(arab calendar). Muslims Isa is not our Jesus and there Mary is not our Mary of the NT. Ask a muslim about the talking infant jesus, when u tell them Jesus didnt talk in his infancy they will ask then how did the baby tell the People that Mary was a virgin an not unfaithful to Joseph.

@Countryfied3000 your a muslim are you not? Muslims believe that Jesus is going to break the cross and kill all swine ect. the cross is a meaning that Jesus defeated death and Satan on that cross. Jesus showed his love on the cross for us not only that but when he was with us.

The cross was a pagan symbol but so was an obelisk. Since arch/historical evidence points to the fact that the Romans used either(cross or obelisk)Jesus died on one of them.It is a powerful symbol and reminder of what God did for us.If the cross is to be prayed to and worship then the cross n its meaning is symbolically pagan. t and x have been used as a religious symbol as well as a plain decoration from the dawn of man, Christians symbolize the cross as love.

Mo has to make Jesus a prophet only and not God so He could over rule His teachings. Jesus claims Himself God several times. So true that Muslims can't nor will understand God as Man, they can't won't only because a prophet that couldn't perform miracles or even prophesied 'said' so.

@rilo1805 they always want proof and logic and explanations, if god wanted us to believe and follow him by fear he would pop outa the sky and say i am god follow my rules, what would then be the point of creation? he wants us to believe and accept him by love and faith, thats what jesus tought us not by mear miracles which dont always work, war is not the anwser only love is the path of true salvation, so god will not pop out and do this instead he sends himself as human to convey his love.

Man can only debate from human logic not enough to understand, thats where faith comes in, anyone who is debating that Jesus is not God is thinking from one stance that it is illogical for god to be human. The whole point of God in human form was to teach his children that he walks amongst us shares our pain and dies for our sins teaches us to praise him.
