He didn't actually smile. And I find it annoying how the mother is automatically assumed to be guilty... I also doubt the guy admitted kidnapping her. The police spokeswoman is enjoying it - she could say anything. It's disturbing how you people assume guilt so easily and it looks bad for both of them. A jury will probably find her guilty through outrage for not looking after her... they should both try and get judge trials... her bf's employment chances are now shot, btw, with the arrest.
