Shadows and multiple lights are coming to Second Life virtual world. This is a short demonstration, using a Linux viewer built from the 'render-pipeline' Linden Lab code branch.

  • YAY!!!

  • Well now - if I ever need something that divides the lousy framerates that I recently have in SL by 3, I will surely consider this :)

  • Its in the newest viewer now, you can also adjust the shadow layer count to improve frame rate as well, just have to play around with it.

  • shadows is such a bit improvement for SL. makes it feel more alive. hope they implement it in the official viewer soon.

  • great and also the sound fits :-) sorry for the drop in your framerate ..
