Sins of a Solar Empire - Bailknight's Graphics Mod 02 [HD]

This is an HD* video capture of an Advent fleet throwing themselves against a lone TEC starbase. As you can see, a fully-upgraded starbase is strong enough that I didn't need to pull any fleet reinforcements back to the planet to rout this attack.

Mostly, this is to show off the weapons SFX from Bailknight's Graphic Mod:

* Blame the pixelated quality of this video on either YouTube or just how hard it is to efficiently compress high-contrast scenes. I uploaded a picture-perfect HD video, but YouTube re-encodes its videos to a significantly lower bitrate than what I needed to get that crystal-clear quality. :-( See below for the unfortunately blatant difference.

What were your upgrades? 2x offense, 3x defense, 2x supply booms, and 1x auxiliary government?

Max offense, max defense, auxiliary government, and that repair ability (I forget its name).

Indeed it is. Bailknight's Graphic Mod revamps weapon & ability effects and also includes/integrates someone else's Volumetric Explosions mod.

A beautiful thing indeed. Impulse won't let me download my original copy and STEAM just put up Trinity for 15 bucks. But with Rebellion right around the corner, I'm afraid to buy trinity. :|
